Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Nord Ouest, we stand behind the quality of every bottle we sell. Our Jojoba oil is cold-pressed, 100% pure, and held to a high standard — because we believe you deserve nothing less. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we want to make it right.

Because Nord Ouest products are sold exclusively through Amazon, all returns and refunds are processed through Amazon's return system. This policy explains how returns work, what to expect, and how to reach us if you need additional support.

2. Amazon Returns

All purchases of Nord Ouest products made through Amazon are subject to Amazon's standard return policy. In most cases, Amazon allows returns within 30 days of delivery for most items sold and fulfilled through their platform. The exact return window and eligibility may vary depending on the specific listing, fulfillment method, and Amazon's current policies.

To initiate a return through Amazon:

  1. Log into your Amazon account.
  2. Navigate to Returns & Orders.
  3. Select the Nord Ouest order you wish to return.
  4. Follow Amazon's prompts to complete your return request.

Amazon will provide return shipping instructions and process your refund in accordance with their standard procedures.

3. Nord Ouest Satisfaction Guarantee

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your Nord Ouest Jojoba oil for any reason, please contact us directly at hello@nordouest.com. We will work with you personally to understand your concern and make it right — whether that means facilitating a return through Amazon, issuing a replacement, or finding another solution.

We are a small, dedicated team and we take every message seriously. You will hear back from us within 1–2 business days.

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If your Nord Ouest Jojoba oil arrives damaged, leaking, or in any way defective, please contact us as soon as possible — we want to resolve it promptly.

To report a damaged or defective product:

  • Email us at hello@nordouest.com within 14 days of delivery.
  • Include your Amazon order number in the message.
  • Attach a photograph showing the damage or defect if possible.

Upon receipt of your message, we will arrange a replacement or a full refund as appropriate. You should not be stuck with a product that did not arrive in perfect condition.

5. Opened Products

Because Jojoba oil is a topical personal care product, Amazon's policies for personal care items may restrict returns of opened products unless there is a product quality issue. Nord Ouest fully supports returns or replacements of opened bottles when there is a genuine quality concern — for example, if the oil has an unusual odor, unusual color, unusual texture, or appears contaminated in any way.

If you have opened the product and have a quality concern, please reach out to us at hello@nordouest.com with a description of the issue. We will work with you to find an appropriate resolution. Please note that returns of opened products simply due to a change of preference are subject to Amazon's standard personal care product return policies.

6. Timeframe

Return requests should be initiated within 30 days of delivery to ensure eligibility under Amazon's standard return policy. For damaged or defective product claims, please contact us within 14 days of delivery as described in Section 4 above.

We understand that circumstances vary. If you are outside the standard return window but have a genuine product quality concern, please reach out to us anyway — we will do our best to help.

7. Refund Processing

Refunds for Amazon purchases are processed by Amazon directly to your original payment method. Timing can vary, but Amazon typically processes refunds within 3–5 business days after they receive and inspect a returned item. The time for the refund to appear in your account will depend on your bank or payment provider.

Nord Ouest does not independently process payment refunds, as all transactions occur through Amazon. If you experience any delays or issues with your Amazon refund, you may also contact Amazon Customer Service directly through your account.
